🔄 Returns & Exchanges Policy – The Witty Optimist

We want you to absolutely love your purchase from The Witty Optimist. Every item is made-to-order through our trusted print-on-demand partners (including Printify), which means each product is created especially for you. Because of this, our returns process is a little different to traditional retail.

✅ Returns & Exchanges Eligibility

We accept returns or exchanges if:

  • The item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • The item is unused, in its original condition, and returned within 30 days of delivery.

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Change of mind (since each product is custom printed on demand).

  • Incorrect sizing, colours, or designs chosen by the customer at checkout (please check product details carefully before purchasing).

  • Sale or clearance items.

💰 Return Shipping Costs

  • While we offer free shipping on our “PICK” Collection and all orders over $100 AUD, all returns are subject to our returns policy.

  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect due to our error.

📦 Process for Returns/Exchanges

  1. Contact us at QuiaraD@shopMQD.com with your order number and a photo of the issue (if applicable).

  2. We’ll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

  3. Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue:

    • A replacement item (if stock allows), or

    • A refund to your original payment method (excluding any original shipping costs).

⏳ Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after we receive and approve your return.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Shipping delays during peak periods (Black Friday, Christmas, New Year) may extend return/exchange processing times.

  • If your order was shipped internationally, please allow additional time for returns to be received and processed.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns, as we cannot guarantee we’ll receive items otherwise.
